Al Amel Elementary School was founded in 1996/1997 with the approval of the Jordanian Ministry of Education, as one of the projects of Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation. Since January 2003, the school has been approved by the latter Ministry as a private institution. The registration process with the Ministry of Education in Bosnia began in 2005, and was completed in 2006 when it was registered as one of the schools operating according to foreign curriculum. The school was established with the aim of enriching the existing curriculum in BiH. Recently, the school has been renovated and the space capacities have been expanded.
